Mall of the Emirates Celebrates 100 Inspiring Women Across the UAE

Dubai, UAE – 14 March 2013 – More than 100 diverse women in the UAE have been invited to come together for a relaxing afternoon tea to share their personal stories and meet like-minded women.

The event is part of Mall of the Emirates ongoing initiative towards women’s rights and empowerment.

Last year, Mall of the Emirates recognized five unique women in Dubai who demonstrated a strong commitment to charitable work in the region and reflect the strong, independent and admirable qualities underlying the international campaign.

“Mall of the Emirates is pleased to once again honour special women across the UAE. Women continue to make tremendous strides in society, and we wanted to recognize them for their hard work and dedication,” said Anna Mansour, Senior Manager for Mall of the Emirates.

All year long Mall of the Emirates encourages shoppers to give back to women in the community by picking up a bottle of the malls exclusive cherry red “Fashion Dome” nail polish, available at all NStyle locations across Dubai. All proceeds from the polish go to support the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE for women and children that are victims of domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking.

Mall of the Emirates once again joins the global momentum championing women’s equality and celebrates the remarkable achievements women have made worldwide. For more information about how Mall of the Emirates is celebrating International Women’s Day visit
