A brand new healthy food café to add to your Dubai foodie bucket list
Looking for a new spot to enjoy your eggs benedict this weekend? Sarabeth’s is sure to be a new favourite for leisurely Friday brunches with family and friends.
The brainchild of award-winning restaurateur and cookbook author Sarabeth Levine, her namesake eateries have reached iconic status in New York thanks to the mouth-watering home-style cuisine and legendary baked goods.
We were first in line to sample the menu at her newly opened location in Mall of the Emirates.
What to Order
While we’d happily eat here for any meal of the day, breakfast tends to be the main draw at Sarabeth’s – think perfectly cooked eggs, fluffy French toast and pastries still warm from the oven.
To avoid the morning crowds, we recently stopped by for lunch and started by sharing ultra-creamy burrata and kale and quinoa tabbouleh, followed by the fried chicken and waffle sandwich and truffle-scented mushroom risotto for mains.
Sarabeth’s serves one of the best burrata in town
If you can resist the buttermilk pancakes and melt-in-your-mouth croissants, you’ll find it easy to eat healthily here – opt for the seared salmon salad or a spicy omelette washed down with a fresh fruit smoothie.
Veggies will also find plenty to eat thanks to a dedicated vegan menu that includes a berry-topped organic açaí bowl, grilled teriyaki tofu and an avocado sandwich with edible flowers.
You can’t leave without sampling at least a few bites of dessert. Sarabeth’s signature tiramisu will instantly satisfy sweet cravings – and as we always say, sometimes it’s well worth that extra few minutes on the treadmill.
Sarabeth’s is located on level 1 in Mall of the Emirates.
