9th Annual Stollen Charity Cake sale in support of Dubai Centre for Special Needs
With festive bells, seasonal cheer and a team of spirited volunteers, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and Mall of the Emirates’ highly anticipated charity event, the 9th Annual Stollen Charity Cake Sale raised more than AED 54,000 for Dubai Centre for Special Needs. This year, a record 650m of Stollen was lovingly prepared by more than 30 chefs over five weeks, supported by more than 30 generous volunteers.
“Each year we search for ways to make the Stollen charity event even more successful!” said Konstantin Zeuke, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. “It is great to see all the passion and hard work that goes into the annual event and I would like to thank everyone who took part and those who came down this weekend to help us raise funds for the Dubai Centre for Special Needs.”
The day was an eventful one, with a spirited program of activities for the entire family including a special visit from Santa Claus, dancing elves and special needs students from the Dubai Centre for Special Needs sharing samples of the delicious Stollen to visitors and encouraging everyone to take one home.
“The Stollen Charity Cake Sale is such a wonderful, spirited event that really kicks off the festive spirit at Mall of the Emirates, and we would like to thank the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, the volunteers and the wider community for coming out and supporting the charitable cause,” said Hussain Moosa Associate Director, Mall of the Emirates. “We’re pleased to be creating great moments for the Dubai Centre for Special Needs, with much needed funds to provide a brighter future for its students.”
