14 retailers awarded for sales performance, operational compliance and standards of customer service; strategic plans for 2012 revealed.
Mall of the Emirates, Dubai’s ultimate shopping, entertainment and leisure destination, recently hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2012. Held in the mall’s Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (DUCTAC), over 400 retailers came together to celebrate their journey and successes for the past year with the mall’s senior management.
Befittingly themed ‘The Journey Never Ends’, and presented by Fuad Sharaf, Senior Asset Director, Asset Management, Shopping Malls and Lizelle Fitoussi. Marketing Manager for Mall of the Emirates, retailers obtained an overview of 2011’s key highlights – including mall performance, development and marketing plans, in addition to 2012’s marketing tactics and strategic enhancement plans.
Acknowledging retailers’ hard work and on-going efforts, the enlightening AGM concluded with the highly-anticipated Retailer of the Year awards. Here, 14 accolades based on sales performance, operational compliance and standards of customer service were also presented, which included the popular People’s Choice award that is conducted through an on-line survey and voted for by Mall of the Emirates’ customers.
