Founded in 1962 in Nimes by the 30 years-old jean Bousque, the company, today internationally renowned, has the name of a bird from Camarage (a region in the south of France). Cacharel brought forward the clothing that installed strong codes, stripes, print blouses that today are still re-invented with equal success. Eley Kishimoto now head the design team and they have created Cacharel baby and children wear, bringing a new look and sophistication to the brand.
